Growing Together as we:

Worship God Passionately

  • To worship God passionately is to worship God authentically- come as you are, no facades. This is necessary to help each other grow.

  • We depend on God together as we pray with and for one another.

  • View our worship gatherings in terms of discipleship- we’re here for each other, not just for ourselves.

    • be less passive, more active

    • help each other move the needle more away from consumer, and more towards missionary

    • learn your gifts, and use them joyfully

      What are your spiritual gifts?

Connect Authentically

  • Make it a priority to be in a discipleship relationship with 2-3 others- reading the Bible together, praying together, and knowing each other to encourage and speak truth to each other.

  • Make yourself available to care for others in our church- providing meals, having people in your home, meeting needs.

  • Be a part of building a culture of encouragement at Calvary.

Who will you pursue for a Discipleship Group?

Grow To Know God Deeply

  • We can never know enough of the Bible. Make it your goal to grow in knowledge and heart for God through Bible and doctrine literacy.

    • Read through the Bible, or a section of the Bible, in 2025, preferably with someone

    • Calvary Institute classes

    • Attend worship regularly and discuss sermon application with others

  • Everyone is a leader in some way to someone, whether in your home, in your workplace, among your friends, or in the church. Be on the lookout for ways you can grow in leadership.

What’s your plan to grow this year?

Go Show and Tell the Gospel

  • One way to grow together is to serve together. Choose ways that you will serve with others on Sunday mornings, at Jesus on Colfax, or even on a mission trip to Albania!

  • Invite others in the church to help you reach your neighbors through gospel hospitality, and/or go help someone else.

  • Give generously throughout the year so that in December every cent can be sent on mission!

How will you grow in living on mission this year?

We are all called to grow. Let’s do it together.
